2017 Conference Recap
For five years, the Bridges Conference has highlighted numerous collaborative projects between Higher Education and K-12 Education. The 2017 event once again proved to be a unique and informative conference that allowed a broad array of presenters to share numerous K-12 / Higher Education partnerships and projects. The conference featured presenters Steve Barkley form PLS 3rd Learning and Scott Kinney from Discovery Education (for more information on the conference featured speakers, click here. The conference provided many opportunities for participants to network to discuss partnering and project opportunities. The annual conference is designed to address an area of education that has grown in importance and opportunity – partnerships between and among higher education and K-12 education. It also addresses educational topics that cut across all levels of education with an emphasis on how emerging technologies can foster partnerships. Join us next year (April 25-27, 2018, as we collaborate to innovate educational delivery models!

About the Conference Venue
Cape May, NJ is one of the oldest resort towns in the United States. It is located on the southern tip of the New Jersey peninsula and is noted for it's quaint Victorian architecture, award winning beaches, amazing restaurants and pedestrian malls. The newly built Cape May Convention Center is located directly on the beach and is a perfect venue for this event. You can see pictures of the town and venue below.
