RE: Student Research Poster Presentation at Bridges Conference
On behalf of the Board of P4CE Bridges Conference, I am pleased to announce the 2nd annual Sister Eustace Taylor Research Symposium, which will be held during the P4CE Bridges Conference in Cape May, NJ, (Dates TBA) , 2020. The purpose of the symposium is to encourage a scholarly, data driven approach to teaching by the next generation of educators, while allowing them to hear valuable feedback on their research from experts in the field. Undergraduate and Graduate Education students are invited to present their research and creative scholarship through this poster presentation session.
We ask that you encourage participation in this event, especially in courses or other educational activities where students engage in research or creative scholarship that could yield a substantive presentation.
All submissions should include a faculty mentor as a second author. Posters should concentrate on a topic related to the field of education, most preferably, on the presentation of new teaching strategies or programs, with the inclusion of research and data on the efficacy of the presented technique or program. Entries should be limited to one poster per student. The form and layout of the poster are at your discretion, but please respect the maximum width of 48 inches. The poster session will run concurrently with the wine and cheese social hour.
To propose a poster for presentation, students must submit a 300-word abstract to https://tinyurl.com/P4CE-Research The submission deadline is (specific date TBA), 2020.
